Make the wind yours.
Procedural tree & plant animation for Blender. Set the strength, turn the breeze, and give your own vegetation a little life.
Find the feeling.
Motion studyGive the breeze a rhythm.
A little variation changes the whole scene. Layer turbulence and passing gusts over the main wind for a less uniform result.
Big sway. Small details.
Branches carry the motion. Leaves catch the breeze. Control both layers separately and use vertex groups to decide where each one belongs.
Branch Sway + Leaf Flutter. Two layers that work together.
Keep your roots grounded.
Let the canopy move while the base stays put. Shape the wind with height falloff, or paint exactly where you want it to reach.
Set the height.
Height Falloff: a smooth transition from the base
Set Fixed Height Zone, then soften the edge with Mask Falloff.
Paint the influence.
Wind Mask: choose exactly what moves
Paint higher weights where you want more wind. Leave the base at zero.
Let the motion come around.
Build a repeating breeze for your shot. Set the loop, watch it return, and keep refining the movement until the repeat feels right.
Set the repeat.
Seamless Loop + Duration (Frames)
Enable Seamless Loop. Set the start frame and duration. The wind repeats after that interval.
Check the join.
Same pose. Same flow. Another cycle.
Watch two full cycles from a fixed view. Check branches and leaves at the join for any visible jump.
Your plants.
Your kind of wind.
