Audio-reactive animation for Blender

Quick Audio VisualizerGive your sound a little motion.

Pulsing lights. Moving shapes. Music you can see.
Turn your audio into editable Blender animation.

Three steps: add your music, choose which objects move, then analyze and bake editable keyframes.
Use your own scene

Take any Blender scene.
Make its objects follow the music.

Start with your model, your lighting, your camera and your materials. Quick Audio Visualizer lets you choose which objects react, how strongly they move, and which part of the sound drives them.

You are not locked to the included demos. Use a finished environment, a product shot, abstract motion graphics, text, characters, props or procedural setups, then assign audio reactions to the objects that should move.

  • Select objects in your existing scene and add them to a reaction group
  • Drive scale, location, rotation, lights, materials, modifiers or custom properties
  • Use bass, mids, treble, beats or a custom frequency range for each movement

One track.
Six ways to feel it.

From a neon stage to a city of sound.
Watch every included scene react to the music.

Quick start

From your audio
to your animation.

Choose what moves, decide how it reacts,
and make the rhythm your own.

01

Bring your sound

Load an audio file, set its timing, and listen in Blender. Or start with a demo scene and its included synthesized track.

Load / Replace Audio
02

Build a reaction

Assign objects to a group and add a preset. Choose a frequency band, adjust the strength, and shape the response.

03

Preview & bake

Analyze the audio and preview your timeline. When the motion feels right, bake to editable keyframes for rendering.

The demo collection

Six scenes to start with.
Make every one your own.

Each demo creates a separate scene with a camera, audio and editable reactions. Explore the setup, then build on it.

Neon Stage demo with spectrum columns and bouncing pink pads
01 / RHYTHM & LIGHT

Neon Stage

Bass-driven rings, bouncing pads, treble accents and reactive lighting bring a miniature concert stage to life.

Resonant Sculpture demo with a flowing central sculpture and glowing petals
02 / FORM & MATERIAL

Resonant Sculpture

Explore flowing forms, glowing petals, material reactions and camera focus in a sculptural audio study.

Signal City demo with a procedural skyline, frequency towers and glowing connections
03 / PROCEDURAL MOTION

Signal City

A procedural city connects audio to Geometry Nodes, modifiers and custom properties, with layered reactions.

Neon Equalizer demo showing segmented yellow-to-red bars with a fading reflection
04 / FREQUENCY & GLOW

Neon Equalizer

A classic segmented spectrum, from warm yellow to red, with luminous bars and a fading reflection.

Kinetic Typography demo with editable PULSE lettering and small frequency bars
05 / TYPE & TIMING

Kinetic Typography

Editable 3D letters pulse to bass, bounce with staggered timing, and catch the treble with bright accents.

Radial Spectrum demo with 48 colored bars surrounding an editable QAV text logo
06 / CIRCULAR SPECTRUM

Radial Spectrum

48 radial bars surround an editable text logo. Custom frequency ranges turn a simple circle into a living spectrum.

Creative controls

Choose the frequencies.
Shape the feeling.

Use a quick preset or build a detailed response.
Every reaction stays yours to adjust.

01 / LISTEN TO THE DETAILS

Give bass, mids & treble
their own movement.

Separate the deep pulse from the brighter details. Pick a built-in band or define a custom frequency range for each reaction.

  • Sub bass, bass, low mids, mids, high mids & treble
  • Full spectrum, overall energy and beat / pulse signals
  • Custom low and high frequency limits

02 / CONNECT SOUND TO YOUR SCENE

Animate more
than a spectrum.

Use sound to drive object transforms, lighting, camera settings and materials. Connect a reaction to Geometry Nodes inputs, modifiers, shape keys or custom properties.

  • Stack reactions and choose how they combine
  • Drive emission and a companion light together
  • Start with 23 editable factory presets

03 / MAKE IT FEEL RIGHT

A sharp impact.
A softer afterglow.

Set the strength, threshold, attack and release. Smooth the signal, change the response curve, or add timing and strength variation across your objects.

  • Fine-tune the response for each reaction
  • Save your own presets; import and export them as JSON

Help & support

A few things
to know.

Can I use my own music?

Yes. Load your own audio file and analyze it to drive your reactions. The demo generator can use either the included synthesized track or the audio you have already loaded.

Are the demo scenes editable?

Yes. Add Demo Scene creates a separate Blender scene with its objects, materials, camera, audio and reaction groups. Inspect the setup, adjust the reactions, replace the sound or change the design.

Do I need to bake before rendering?

Use the live preview while developing your scene. Before rendering or exporting animation, use Bake to Keyframes. The resulting keyframes can be edited in Blender. Re-bake after changing the audio or reaction settings.

Is Beat / Pulse a BPM detector?

Beat / Pulse reacts to rising audio transients in a selected frequency band. It is not a musical BPM or tempo detector. Adjust its sensitivity, cooldown and frequency range to suit the track.

Which Blender version do I need?

Quick Audio Visualizer requires Blender 5.2 or newer. Its audio analysis uses Blender's native sound analysis tools. No separate Python audio packages are required.
